A second unloading station was recently installed at Dolav. After the first set was delivered and a short testing period, it quickly became clear that the concept worked well. The decision to order a second set was therefore made quickly.
Problem statement
Lava granules are used for the insulation of battery box storage. These battery boxes are placed on a vibrating table, so that the granules fill the box evenly. The lava granules are supplied in big bags. However, manually filling the battery boxes causes a high physical strain on employees and leads to a contaminated workplace. In addition, the storage and processing of the raw materials is not efficient.
Solution
By transferring the big bags into the FlowBox, storage becomes simpler, cleaner and safer. Thanks to the integrated dosing slide, the raw materials can be dosed in a controlled and easy manner.
The Modulo FlowBox frame also creates a stable and stationary unloading station. The flexible hose with shut-off valve ensures that unloading can be carried out ergonomically, which significantly improves the posture of employees.
To complete the setup, both unloading stations were supplied with 2 FlowControl electrically remote-controlled shut-off valves.
